What does Variation mean?
One of the most important term to familiarize yourself with is a Variation.
We use this word to describe a change in a Design configuration. There are however strict rules that applies to determine if a certain change represents a Design Variation or a Unique Design.
If the modification you want to make is in the accepted variations list below, you can enjoy volume discounts while making changes to your products within the same order. Otherwise, your modifications will be processed as a new Design and the price will be calculated accordingly.
Accepted Variation
- A change in the color of the Element (Embroidery only)
- A change in the color of the Product
- A change in the product model, if compatible (see Variations: What’s a compatible model?)
Invalid Variation
- A change in the position of an Element
- A change in the size of an Element
- A change in the embellishment method for an Element
- A change in the product model, if incompatible
