A pillar in headwear products
Flexfit LLC is the american sales & distribution agency of Yupoong Inc. It is one of the world's largest vendors of custom, private label headwear.
Established in the United Kingdom in 1992, Flexfit is the brand behind a few collection of hats you may already know about : The 210 fitted hats, the 110 caps, the Flexfits and the popular Classics. Yupoong, the company's headquarters, are established since 1974 and has since earned an impeccable reputation as the world's leading headwear company through 40 years of experience, professionalism and integrity.
Baseball is a staple of headwear style and fashion
Depending on which year, team or player you ask, baseball caps can take a multitude of shapes and style. The general consensus is that baseball hats are ballcaps made out of 6 panels. They can sport a plastic snap as a closure but they are more often found with a stretch closure as it's probably slightly quicker to remove and replace.
Usually, baseball hats will use a lightweight fabric to maintain maximum breathability but they can also use warmer fabrics like a cotton twill. Some baseball players wear it with a flat brim and some prefer to have a curved visor. We can also find some models with a built-in hard reinforcement as a protective accessory during baseball games. As you can see, it is a pretty broad family and it's difficult to pinpoint the exact model you need when referring to a baseball cap.
One size to rule them all
A classic design, the snapback has seen a recent rise back into the fashion world where it is adored by both celebrities and the public in equal measure.
The snapback caps first rose to fame in the 90's in America where it became especially popular in Los Angeles and New York. In these early years, the popularity of the hat was largely due to being worn both by famous musicians and sports stars.
The main advantage of the snapback closure simple plastic design is its flexibility, making the hats one size fits all. This system also makes the cap durable since there's no additional metal parts that can break off.
The evergreen style
Not to be confused with the trusty six-panel hat you’ve been wearing since your Little League days, this new silhouette can be prominent when found on ballcaps or slimming and much more fitted on jockey campers. The 5-panel cap has seen a soar in popularity in the last 5 years, although this soar is fairly undocumented.
There are two main types of 5-panel hats : the pinwheel configuration (show on the right) and the arched configuration. The first one is similar to how the 6-panel hats are sewn, except that the front seam doesn't go all the way down to the brim. The other 5-panel caps have their five parts combined over the arc of your cranium which provides a tighter fit.
